Floor.

instead of using 2mm plain aluminium as provided in the Kit. I Decided to use tread plate for the floor.

Although the thinnest tread plate available is 4mm the weight difference is minimal. It will be far less than than the extra weight in Bling

that Craig is wearing if he is a passenger in the car.

Craig is particularly fond of Air Tools here he is using his favourite tool in the garage.

The floor was dry fit before the chassis went for paint the plate was clamped to the chassis using the nuts and bolts

through the 8 holes which attach the seats. it was then trimmed close on a 45 degree angle using a jigsaw and Aluminium blade.

then finishing off with a angle grinder and heavy duty sanding disc.

Holes were marked and drilled with a pilot hole before painting.

Once the chassis was painted the floor was fitted and the pilot holes were drilled to the correct rivet size.
